Paul Butterfield was one of the most highly regarded harmonica players to come out of the Chicago blues scene. Throughout the 1960s he was the leader of his influential blues band playing with iconic musicians as Elvin Bishop, Mike Bloomfield, David Sanborn and many others. Boogie, bluesy, early-70s jam rock from the American state of Illinois - a familiar release for the ultra dedicated rock vinyl collector, mostly due to the extreme rarity and high collectability value of the first private pressing from 1971. It was a long time coming for Guerssen to do a huge (and affordable!) vinyl reissue campaign, and frankly, I'm quite happy to see it get the greater recognition it deserves.
