Paul Butterfield was one of the most highly regarded harmonica players to come out of the Chicago blues scene. Throughout the 1960s he was the leader of his influential blues band playing with iconic musicians as Elvin Bishop, Mike Bloomfield, David Sanborn and many others. He recorded 7 albums for Elektra Records breaking up the blues band in '71. He continued performing before he passed in 1987
